These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) apply to Newegg Gift Cards, whether in the form of a virtual e-card or an actual physical card, which are issued by Newegg to customers in exchange for monetary consideration (“Gift Cards”), Newegg Store Credit Gift Cards, which are issued by Newegg to customers in exchange for returned merchandise (“Store Credit Gift Cards”), Newegg Promotional Gift Cards, which are issued by Newegg to customers as part of a promotion (“Promotional Gift Cards”), and Newegg Customer Care Gift Cards, which are issued by Newegg to customers as a courtesy, for any reason, in its sole discretion (“Customer Care Gift Cards”). Gift Cards, Store Credit Gift Cards, Promotional Gift Cards, and Customer Care Gift Cards may be referred to herein individually as “Newegg Card” or collectively as “Newegg Cards”.
General Terms
These are Newegg’s General Terms that apply to all Newegg Cards.
- Newegg Cards are not credit cards or debit cards.
- Newegg Cards are not returnable and not redeemable for cash except as otherwise provided by law.
- Newegg Cards cannot be used toward the purchase of any Gift Card or third-party gift card.
- Newegg will not assess a service fee or dormancy fee with respect to Newegg Cards.
- Newegg Cards may not be resold, and Newegg reserves the right to void any Newegg Cards it believes have been resold.
- Additional credit cannot be added to Newegg Cards after they have been issued by Newegg.
- No portion of the balance of any Newegg Card can be transferred to any other Newegg Card.
- Newegg Cards can be redeemed only through the Newegg.ca website (the “Site”) and may only be used towards the purchase of eligible products or services offered for sale in the country for which the Newegg Cards are issued. Eligible goods and services are subject in our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason, without notice. To redeem your Newegg Cards, you must enter your Newegg Card ID and security code in the “Redeem Newegg gift cards” area on the billing info page.
- If you use your Newegg Card to make a purchase on the Site and your purchase does not exhaust the credit balance on your Newegg Card, then you may use the remaining balance for future purchases, subject to the restrictions set forth herein. If you use your Newegg Card to make a purchase on the Site which exceeds the credit balance on your Newegg Card, you will have to use another payment method to pay for the remainder of your purchase.
- Holders of Newegg Cards can obtain balance and other information at any time by following this link: https://secure.newegg.ca/shop/gcBalance and entering Newegg Card ID number and security code, or by calling Newegg Customer Service at (800) 390-1119 during normal business hours.
- Risk of loss and title for Newegg Cards pass to the customer upon delivery to the customer, designated recipient, or Newegg’s delivery to the carrier, whichever applies. You are responsible for safeguarding your Newegg Cards. Newegg is not responsible if any Newegg Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. Newegg is not responsible for any unlawful or fraudulent conduct by any third-party associated with any Newegg Cards.
- Newegg reserves the right to void any Newegg Card, without notice, and without a refund, and/or to suspend or terminate any Newegg customer accounts, and/or cancel any orders if we suspect that any Newegg Card is obtained or used fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.
- Your use of Newegg Cards must comply with Newegg’s Terms and Conditions and any applicable laws, rules or regulations. In addition, you agree to defend and indemnify Newegg from and against any claims, expenses or liabilities made against or incurred by Newegg in connection with your use of Newegg Cards or violation of any of these Terms.
- Except to the extent of any express conflict with these Terms, Newegg’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply to Newegg Cards. All provisions of these Terms can and will be enforced except where prohibited by law.
- Refunds for purchases made using Newegg Cards are subject to the Canada Return Policy.
Additional Terms and Conditions
Newegg Gift Cards
Newegg Gift Cards do not include “Newegg Store Credit Gift Cards”, “Newegg Promotional Gift Cards” or “Newegg Customer Care Gift Cards”.
Gift Cards can be purchased from Newegg for dollar denominations ranging from ten dollars and zero cents (CAD$10.00) to two thousand five hundred dollars and zero cents (CAD$2,500.00). Depending on your location, the following forms of payment may be accepted for purchases of Gift Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Newegg Store Credit Gift Cards
Newegg Gift Cards do not include “Newegg Gift Cards”, “Newegg Promotional Gift Cards” or “Newegg Customer Care Gift Cards”.
NEWEGG STORE CREDIT GIFT CARDS DO NOT EXPIRE.
Newegg Promotional Gift Cards
Newegg Promotional Gift Cards do not include “Newegg Gift Cards”, “Newegg Store Credit Gift Cards”, or “Newegg Customer Care Gift Cards”.
If your purchase qualifies for a Promotional Gift Card, then Newegg will issue you the Promotional Gift Card approximately four (4) days after you are invoiced for your qualifying purchase.
If you receive a Promotional Gift Card in connection with your purchase of any item and/or service, your Promotional Gift Card will be voided if you subsequently return that item and/or service to Newegg for a refund.
Newegg reserves the right to block the Newegg customer account of any customer who repeatedly seeks to return an item (for which a Promotional Gift Card was issued when the item was purchased) for a refund after first using that Promotional Gift Card toward the purchase of a different item.
A NEWEGG PROMOTIONAL GIFT CARD EXPIRES ONE (1) YEAR AFTER IT IS ISSUED, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED.
Newegg Customer Care Gift Cards
Newegg Customer Care Gift Cards do not include “Newegg Gift Cards”, “Newegg Store Credit Gift Cards”, or “Newegg Promotional Gift Cards”.
If you receive a Customer Care Gift Cards in connection with your purchase of an item and/or service, your Customer Care Gift Card will be voided if you subsequently return that item or service to Newegg for a refund.
A NEWEGG CUSTOMER CARE GIFT CARD EXPIRES ONE YEAR AFTER IT IS ISSUED, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED.
